After a break to take care of my health, I’m back at it.

Receiving a diagnosis of HCC (Hepatocellular Carcinoma) – a.k.a. Liver Cancer – earlier this year has taken both a physical and mental toll on me.

I had thought that the tribulations I endured last year — liver blockage, gall bladder removal, repeated stent placement and replacement in my biliary tubes — had forestalled any more progressive damage, but that was not to be.

It turns out that everything I went through could (and apparently DID) lead to liver cancer.

It’s not good news, and trying to keep my spirits up has taken a lot out of me.

So, I haven’t been as attentive to my efforts to either upskill or refresh skills as I had originally intended.

And yet, this week, I completed DataCamp’s “PowerBI Fundamentals” Skill Track as a refresher. For the record, here are the six courses that make up that track:

Course
#1Introduction to PowerBI
#2Introduction to DAX in PowerBI
#3Data Visualization in PowerBI
#4Case Study: Analyzing Customer Churn in PowerBI
#5Data Preparation in PowerBI
#6Data Modeling in PowerBI

Here’s to my continued journey, for however long the Good Lord allows that to be!
